This series plays on the thin line between abstract and figurative, constantly pushing shapes and geometry to their edge. Instead of representing figures the idea is that the work captures that elusive moment just before form fully emerges. Starting with familiar cues like a curve or a gesture, the shapes fold inward, looping quietly back on themselves. These folds become the structure, balancing tension with softness, letting the body hold space without fully revealing itself.

Knots are a key metaphor here — not problems to solve, but ways to hold complexity together. The drawings live in the in-between, caught between release and control, openness and retreat, with a rhythm all their own.

The body is more than just a figure; it’s terrain that blends, slows down, and listens. Flexible and connected, it bends, overlaps, and merges, reflecting how we move and share space. Each pose is a quiet meditation on identity — never fixed, often hidden, but always deeply felt. The constant pull between softness and strength keeps the work compelling and alive.
